Main Farm
Ship Harbor |
 |
|
|
|

The Harbor
is unlocked once you reach level
16. Captain Barnacle offer to purchase your farm products for dollars, horseshoes, and experience points.
NOTE:
The temporary island
farms are very
expensive, so if your
permanent farms are NOT
built up enough to
maintain a steady income
of say 4 million or more
a day then you should
hold off on doing any of
the temp farms. There are
other ways to get
needed horseshoes and
start training your
horses. Just to mention
a few, any of the Hard Worker
events and the Cooperative Championship or
just by filling
Organic market contracts.
Do note: With three island farms,
the ship will alter between Tropical fruits, Viking fruits and Candy
fruits!
UPDATE:
You can no longer keep
farms from unlocking :( |
|
The Ship will dock at the Harbor
for 6 hours or until you fill all of Captain
Barnacle's requests. |
Once the Ship departs, it will
take 6 hours until the Ship comes back with a
request for more farm products. |
The Ship has 6 slots that can be
filled. The first 4 slots are only for products
collected from any of your permanent farms. The
last two slots need to be unlocked by the start
of an island temp farm. |
The Ship will not appear in the Harbor unless you are logged in,
once you log in, the Ship will arrive in the Harbor. |
If the Ship is in the harbor when
you log off the 6 hour departure timer will keep counting
down even if you are not logged in. |
|
At lower levels you are always
selling your overstock because you don't have
room for it in you storage, so why not sell it
to Captain Barnacle. The Ship is a great source of
income and XP for lower level farmers. Fill
those 4 slots and get that ship sent on it's way
ASAP, the sooner the ship sails the sooner it
will be back.
You must have the exact amount of
produce. |
Captain Barnacle will ask for Gourmet farm
products soon as you reach level 25 and Flower
farm products soon as you reach level 35 whether
you have them or not. |
Soon as you unlock one of the
temporary island farms the last 2 slots will
become available. That is all fine and dandy if
you are ready to start some major training for
your racing horse, but like I mentioned above,
the temporary farms are very expensive. Make
sure that you are ready to be filling all 6
slots to send the ship on it's way and only
unlock one island farm. |
|
The image below shows the Ship
with only 4 slots available. Notice how filling
2 slots will take the meter 1/3rd the way up
giving a reward of dollars and XP. If I was to
leave this ship with only these 2 slots filled
it will sail after the timer runs out and I'll
get the dollars and XP shown. I'd also like to
point out how you can always mouse over any
product to see just how much you have in your
storage. |

The image below shows the Ship
with all 6 slots available. Notice how filling
4 slots will take the meter 2/3rds the way up
giving a reward of more dollars and XP. Now that
the last 2 slots are unlocked, this ship will
not sail until I fill all 6 slots. If I was to
leave this ship with only these 4 slots filled
it will sail after the timer runs out and I'll
get the dollars and XP shown but I will not get
the Loading bonus. The bonus id only applied
when you fill all 6 slots. I'd also like to
point out how you can adjust the amount of
fruits given in the last 2 slots but you must
make these adjustments before you click on
Contribute. |
 |
As you can see in this image I
was able to fill the last 2 slots and the ship
sailed giving me my Loading bonus. Adjusting the
amount of special fruits determines your Loading
bonus when the ship sails. |
 |
You must have the exact amount of produce Thank you JVD (US1) for this info and image. As you can see in this image
JVD
was not able to fill the apple crate because she
did not have enough apples in storage. You
must wait until you have the exact amount of
produce in storage before you can fill the
crate, unlike the special fruits where you can
adjust the amounts. |
